Hi Sergey,

I spoke to Ivan about the origin of his name. He told me that he is named after his father who was also called Ivan. Interestingly, his father was an orphan in Great Britain. As a result, Ivan’s family actually knows very little about their family history on his father’s side. So I guess it is possible that Ivan’s father may have come from a Russian background, although it will never be known. Thanks for asking that interesting question.

Many thanks for your kind words. Yes, Ivan and I are part of the same motorcycling group and we ride together every week. That is how we met.

I just opened the website to see if there’s updated postcast and found this one. Good to see you keep doing this podcast to help people from all over the world with their English.

After reading today’s podcast a question comes to me that how did you and Ivan meet? He mentioned he likes motorcycling so I guess you are riding motorcycles together.

I came to Melbourne in February this year. I have been accustomed to Aussie lifestyle now but unfortunately I will go back China in three months. I think I will miss everything here and every moment I spend in this fabulous country.
