Thanks very much for the program, it is really good one, authentic pronounce! especially for the
English learners, however, in the end of the podcast, if you could be able to read them in normal speed once again, after the 1st slower speed, it will be even better, in this way, the learners like me, can compare with two versions of the speed each other, and get the chance to feel the differences between them. to improve the ability of listening.

Hello Robert! How are thy?? I hope you’re well. So ending festivities, I cannot believe it’s december already, how fast this year had passed! It’s interesting to know about diferent traditions around there, here we usually gather the extended family(me, my sis, dad, aunt, uncle, two cousins and my godmom) to have a speacial meal at christmas eve and share gifts. At the Christmas day we always go to church in the morning then we have a more simple lunch and spend the rest of the day together praying, chatting and enjoying one another’s company. That’s it, I wish your holidays go well! Cheers!

Many thanks for your comment. Wow, 6th of January – that is quite different compared to Australia. It’s great that your children can experience a mix of cultures for festivals like Christmas. It makes life more interesting I think.

Hi, we are Ignacio’ sons. We listened your podcast 52.
In our family, also we celebrate the Christmas with a mixture of Peruvian and Spanish cultures. The day in wich the children get their presents, in Spain, is the sixth of January. In this day also Christ get his presents.

Hey, great post Rob. Our Christmas celebrations are very traditional and much like yours even though the kids have grown up and are living their own lives. Christmas for us is a time for a ‘family gathering’ and each year one of the family takes it in turn to open their home and the relatives come around for a traditional Christmas lunch and an afternoon of celebration fun. Watching the little ones open their presents is a joy to behold.
