Hi Marina,
I am glad that you are safe. Melbourne is very quiet at the moment, but for all the wrong reasons - we are all staying at home (unless we are essential workers). Anyway, I look forward to the time when international travel is once more possible and safe.
Have a great day.

Thank you a lot!
We are in the same boat. Another wave of pandemic is expected if we do not abide by the rules?. However, the place where I live is rather quiet and peaceful. Australia seems to be wonderful too. Perhaps one day I may visit your country.
Thank you for replying me back.
Let's take care??

Hi Marina,
Thanks very much for your comment and kind feedback about my podcast. Your life in Tuscany sounds very idyllic, especially as we all try to come to terms with the ongoing pandemic. It must be great to go for walks in the countryside around Siena, especially with your son - so much to see and marvel at. Give your cats a pat from me. I hope you are safe and well during this difficult time.
Have a great day.

Hello Rob !
I loved listening to this podcast about clothes :). And it' is the first one I have listened to. I discovered your website quite by chance and what a relief to see there exist sites like yours offering great help to learners of English :).

I am from Italy, more specifically from Siena, a city situated in Tuscany. I am a mum of a young boy - he's 8 now- who is a lively cheeky monkey :). I live in the typical Tuscan countryside where you can see hayrolls in summer. I am a bit far away from the city centre, but, I bet, a 40 minute drive to get there doesn't sound so far for many people:).
I have three plumpy cats that like taking naps and purring a lot and near my house there are even a small lake, resempling a pond really, and a tiny wood where it is possible to see deer and wildboars from time to time, not to mention squirrels.

Going back to your podcasts, I appreciate this strategy of slowing down your speeches as it might be helpfu, I mean, from the viewpoint of someone like me who is trying to learn another language and is quite an auditory type of, to give extra time to focus more on the meaning of what is being said. Moreover, a little bit more time to figure out what is implied here and there does require such strategy along with intonation and rhythm.

In addition to that, your voicetone is very calm and has its own melody, so it is a pleasure to do other things while having you in the background speaking about different issues.

Thanks a lot for what you have been doing.

Hi Merasa,
Yes, I think the weather has a lot to do with it. Perhaps jeans also allow girls and women to be more active as they go about their daily lives. My view is, as long as it is comfortable, then go for it.
Thanks for your comment.
Have a great day.
