Preferential voting is more coplicated to count, but it much more fairer for voters. And this way of voting suits for real democracy.

It is fitting that the podcast is published now, after the Australian election. Although preferential voting is somewhat complicated, I understand this system of vote counting because of your using a simplified example. I agree with you that the choice of an electoral system shouldn’t be based on its ease of understanding for voters, but should be more representative of the people’s will. Thanks for sharing a great podcast which gave me a lot of common sense.
