Hi Rob, I like study English with this program, because the pronunciation is slow so as a beginner (Iam Indonesian) I can understand what you say.

What an interesting pod this…………i totally agree when it says that money on education is important, in my opinion, it must be sacred and we’ve got such amazing examples of successful countries relied on education that now is fricking flawless(as Japan after the US bombs and now u guys studying its language, so jealous btw lol).thanks for sharing such informative post.

Hi Lena,
Many thanks for your comment. You have made some interesting points about education. There are different views about the age when children should start school. I agree with you that parents play a very important role in teaching their children when they are very young, including reading them lots of stories and giving them interesting things to play with. However, having a quality pre-school programme will also help young chidren, I’m sure.
Regarding the ‘t’ sound in some words, I must admit that I have not noticed that Australians pronounce it differently to other English speakers. Perhaps you are right. That is an interesting observation.
Your comment certainly uses complex English, although written in an informal style including some abbreviations which people normally use in SMS texts. Well done. My suggestion for you is that, when writing in this type of situation, and depending on who your audience is (in this case me), perhaps using a more formal, grammatically correct style of English could also be used.

How areyou doing ?? wat an interesting pod this, totally agree when it says that money on education is important, in my opinion it must be sacred and we’ve got such amazing examples of successful countries relied on education that now are friking flawless(as Japan after the US bombs and now u guys studying its language, so jealous btw lol). But ya I think children shouldn’t be pushed into skl so early, the parents could work part-time so that they themselves would teach the infants instead of “tertiaryze” it & who’s better than them to get things across, make em realize skl is important. My colleges(& I) have just realized it now in high skl, it’s devastating but more common than we suppose. Okay then Mr. McCormack I’ve heard that u aussie pronounce ‘t’ sound(moTor, dirTy err waTer) with ‘d’ sound(like in boDy). Na think it’s actually kinda a hybrid of ‘d’ & ‘r’ idk. Please mister would you really pull my little text(sosorry! it’s almost a bible) apart pls? Thank you so much and have a awesome day!
