Hi Paul. Thanks for your excellent comment. You are right that ‘heart and soul’ should be in the vocabulary list. I will add it in. It means that the MCG means something very special to the people of Melbourne, that it is at the centre of what Melbourne people love.

Hello Rob,
I really enjoy your podcast and warm slowly voice. Especially you give us not only how to learn English but also introduce Australian culture.
I have a suggestion about the vocabulary list. Because when I listened this episode I wrote this idiomatic pair “heart and soul” on my note. But I can’t find this word in vocabulary. I think this word can describe something so vivid and probably you can add this word in vocabulary list.

Hi Ray. Thanks for your kind comments. The G certainly is a special place in Melbourne. I’m looking forward to the Big Bash in summer, as I really like going to the G for night games.
