Hi Boban,
Many thanks for your comment and for your kind words about my podcast. Yes, Bruce Springsteen is great, one of the best rock artists ever and he has had such a long and successful career. I agree that he has a hard edge to his music which appeals to me too. I think my favourite track of his is Dancing in the Dark.

This podcast is particuly interesting becouse I like music, especialy rock n’ roll. May I ask you, did you listen Bruce Springsteen?I found his music is very good and hard edge.

Hi Sergey,
Many thanks for your kind comments. Yes, the Bee Gees are regarded as an Australian band. Like AC/DC, they too came to Australia as migrants when they were quite young. I did not list them as a pub rock band because they don’t really fit that well into that category. They are more pop/disco than rock, but still a great Aussie band for sure. It’s a great pity that only Barry Gibb remains. Their music was truly remarkable, including the many great songs they wrote for other people such as Barbara Streisand and Diana Ross.

As I told earlier you are a great man! So many interesting things in your podcasts! I am learning English and get new knowledge from many sides of the life of Australia! it is incredible interesting and usefull! Thanks a million!!!
Why did not you tell about Bee Gees? As far as I know it is an Australian band. And in Brisbane exist a memorial to Bee Gees. May be I am not right? If I am not right sorry!

Another great post Rob that brings back the fabric of my youth with the great bands of the 60’s. My all time favorite artist is Roy Orbson followed by the Beatles, The Stones, Billy Thorpe & the Aztecs, Ray Brown & the Whisperers, The Easybeats, Deon and Dusty Springfield.
